OFFICIAL GP3 TESTS IN VALENCIA (E)

The ten GP3 teams met up in Valencia at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, for two days of testing on 23^rd and 24^th November 2011 in Valencia. This time out Jenzer Motorsport fielded Patric Niederhauser (CH), Robert Visoiu (ROM) and Michael Heche (CH).

The first day saw 25 runners, of whom only five had been among this season’s drivers. The track was still wet in the morning but dried out towards noon and Patric was on the pace immediately when slick tyres were an option, ending the morning 2nd in the running. Michael managed to drive his fastest lap times in the afternoon, and Robert drove well all day long, but couldn’t quite get the best out of his new tyres. On the overall results list Michael was listed in 2^nd, while Patric finished 8^th and Robert was 16^th.

The second day saw 26 drivers take part, with eight of them returners from this season. The sun shone, but the temperatures remained cool all the morning. Patric set the 4^th fastest time, Michael was 9^th and Robert 11^th. In the afternoon the drivers who had participated this season were able to put their experience of the formula to good use, and of course as always on test days not everybody put new tyres on at the same time. Despite this the times from the morning remained unbeaten, and our rookies came away with a excellent team performance.

The final tests this year will take place on 1^st/2^nd December at Jerez (E).
