FORMULA ABARTH TESTS IN VALLELUNGA

The 2011 season got under way also for Formula Abarth. The first official test day of the Series took place in Vallelunga, Italy. The weather was dry and spring like warm, with temperatures around 20°C.
22 drivers had entered the test day. Jenzer Motorsport competed with Patric Niederhauser (CH), Sergey Sirotkin (RUS) and Robert Visoiu (ROM).

What could be seen in the pre-season test days, was now confirmed at the official test day. Our drivers were all consistently fast and always to be found within the first third in the timing list. At the end of the morning session it was Sergey, who occupied the top of the list, and in the afternoon classification it was Patric who got hold of the top position.

However, the fastest lap time of the day finally went to Sergey, who was 17 thousandsth of a second faster than Patric. Robert was classified overall in 8^th position.

The first race of the new season for the Formula Abarth Italian Championship will be held on 16/17 April also at Vallelunga (I).
