GP3 OFFICIAL TESTS AT SILVERSTONE

The ten teams of the GP3 Series met for three official test days on 29/30 and 31 March at Silverstone in England. The weather was very changing, it was raining profusely and temperatures were quite cool. Jenzer Motorsport was competing with Nico Müller (CH), Maxim Zimin (RUS) and Vittorio Ghirelli (I).

The demanding circuit and the changeable weather was a challenge to all 30 drivers. Nico managed, to get a top five spot in all classifications (morning and afternoon lap times), except one. With the ever changing weather conditions it was very difficult to always be on track at the right moment, and not to get hindered by session breaks because of incidents.

Maxim took some time to get adjusted to the track, which was new to him. Finally he managed to improve steadily. His best placement was the 13^th position.

Vittorio was fighting mainly with weather conditions and session breaks due to red flag incidents. His best placement was 7^th position.

The next official test days of the GP3 Series will be held on 12/13/14 April 2011 at Barcelona (E). The first race of the new season will then be held as support act of the Formula 1 Grand Prix on 7/8 May 2011 in Istanbul (TK).
