MAXIM ZIMIN TO RACE IN THE 2011 GP3 SERIES

With the support of Our Formula's driver development program, Russian driver Maxim Zimin will take part in the 2011 GP3 Series season with Jenzer Motorsport. Last year Zimin competed in the Italian Formula Abarth championship with us and showed great pace, race by race, eventually taking 5th place in the overall rankings.

Petr Aleshin, boss of Our Formula: ”Undoubtedly Maxim is a talented driver. His debut in car racing last season gives us hope that he'll have success in GP3. Maxim will continue with Jenzer Motorsport, because he has developed a good working relationship with them during the last season and we will be helping Maxim by passing our experience to him.”

Maxim Zimin: ”I will give my very best to get great results. I'm very happy to remain in the Jenzer Motorsport family, because last season I felt at home in the team. I hope that together with them and Nasha Formula we will reach our targets for the season. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of the GP3 car in official testing this March!

The GP3 Series supports all European based F1 rounds except Monaco. The season starts on 7th May in Istanbul and ends on 11th September at Monza in Italy.

Gazprombank and Sibur, partners in the Our Formula driver development program, will support Maxim Zimin this season.
